Leata all ready to go!
When we got to school we went and said hi to Mrs.Harris.
Then we went to Mrs.Benjamin's class right next door to get Leata settled. Her desk is right on the front row!
Leata loved her first day of first grade and then daddy went to pick her up from school and took her to the Juice Press to get a smoothie before taking her back to work with him. Poor girl hardly drank any of her smoothie and was falling asleep while she was at work with A.J. When she got home I could tell she didn't feel well. I took her temperature and she had a fever of 105.8! So off to the doctor we went. In the end after all the results came back, she was starting to get pneumonia. She started her antibiotic on Monday night missed her second day of school and went back for her third day. She finished the first week Friday and is mostly ready to start back tomorrow. She is still adjusting to being there almost 7 hours a day (except the 4 hour day they have on Fridays) instead of 3 but that will come with time. She loves her teacher and that she gets to see Auntie Kendall every single day.

Oh, love first grade! I wouldn't trade being with my little girls for anything but there's a teeny little bit of jealousy going on that Kendall gets to be in the classroom. :) Just can't ever get enough. Hope Leata's still loving it!
