My Grandma

My Grandma fell not long after we left Arizona. Because of this we discovered that her heart was only working at 5-10% capacity. She broke her femur and chipped her hip when she fell and had to have surgery. Because her heart was so weak and enlarged, we didn't know if she would make it through the surgery. She did but a couple of days after the fall we found out just how bad things were. My mom and my brother Collin and sister Ann were all there when this all happened. We were out there earlier in the week last week. My mom and Collin and Ann were driving home when grandma took a turn for the worse. Mom drove Collin and Ann the rest of the way home and flew back to AZ with Kendall. They flew to AZ yesterday and I just got a call from Kendall telling me that Grandma is not well at all and everyone thinks it will be very soon. Very possibly tonight.
Please pray that Grandma can be comfortable and at peace. She's struggling with a lot of pain right now. Also, if you would, pray for Grandpa, Mom, Uncle John, Aunt Chris and all of the family and friends that love her and will miss her so much.

I am so glad that we were able to see her less than two weeks ago. Those memories are happy memories.

Here's a quick video of her playing the harmonica just earlier this month.

I'm glad you got to visit with your Grandma before she goes. She'll feel much better soon but it will be sad for your Grandpa to be left alone.
