Leata Had A Birthday, Shout Hooray!

Leata turned 5 years old yesterday. She is so excited to be 5 and to be going to school soon!

The celebrations started Sunday when Gran and Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Collin, Auntie
Ann, Auntie Kendall and Uncle Casey all came over for some chili and cake. Kendall made a castle cake at the request of the princess. It turned out great. Pictures will follow soon.

Monday we had a BBQ and had Grandma, Uncle Collin, Auntie Ann, Auntie Kendall and Uncle Casey over again. They kids played in the pool and jumped in the little bouncy castle we have.

Yesterday (her actual birthday) we went to the paleontology museum at BYU in the afternoon because Leata has recently become interested in Dinosaurs! It is small, and free and you can watch people at work chipping bones out of rock, if they are there when you are. It was perfect for a bunch of little kids! After the museum, we went to Denny's for dinner. Leata had wanted to go to Wendy's but then decided that she wanted to have pancakes for breakfast for her birthday so off to Denny's we went! When we got there we saw a sign that said "Kids eat free Tuesdays and Saturdays!" Well, that worked out great! She had pancakes and grapes and chocolate milk. Taylor had chicken nuggets because once she decides what she is having there is no changing her mind! She was going to have chicken nuggets at Wendy's so she had them at Denny's instead! lol
