10th Anniversary!

Our Family ten years later

A.J. and I celebrated our 10th anniversary on Thursday (May 20). The Saturday before our anniversary we went to see the movie "Babies" and ate at Texas Roadhouse. It was a nice day and we did some shopping as well without the kids. My sister Ann was at our house watching them. We went to Ikea and found a large framed photo of the London Bridge that we have wanted for a while. We got it and it will be hanging in our bedroom soon! We have wanted this picture for several years since we got an Ikea nearby but decided to wait and our 10th anniversary was a great occasion to buy it.

On our Anniversary we went to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner. A.J. left work early and picked up Ann on his way home. We got to the Cheesecake Factory before 5pm and it was not busy at all. We were seated immediately and served quickly. After dinner we went to the London Market and bought some of our favorite candy bars. We then went to Smith's Marketplace. It was a nice evening.

In the last ten years we have been so blessed. We had the excitement of getting married in England and all that led up to that. Then we both finished school in the first three years we were married. A.J. got a great job just a few months after he graduated from BYU and is still working at Flexsim today. It's been a great environment for him with great people!

In the first 4 years we were married we traveled to England 7 times and loved traveling and visiting our favorite places in England and new places (including places in Ireland, Germany and France). We also bought our house right before our 4th anniversary. Before our 4th anniversary we had lived in 7 different apartments/houses. In the last 6 years we have lived in one home and we love it!

We have been blessed with three wonderful, adorable little children. There is never a dull moment at our house! They all have such fun but different personalities and we love them so much!

The last 10 years have been so crazy! Between school, moving a lot, traveling to Europe, A.J. looking for and then finding work, buying a house, finally having our first baby (after 5 years), having pregnancy problems, having two babies born early and in the NICU in less than two years, we really have had some crazy times! They have been great though and we are very blessed and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Here in earthquake country it's not wise to hang anything over the bed unless you're willing to have it fall down on you.

We aren't too worried. It's onlt about 10 lbs and has no glass or plastic on it that would break. It might hurt a little if it fell but it wouldn't injure us. :)

Happy anniversary a little late! Now you can sit back and wonder what adventures the next ten years will bring!
