Time is flying! Luke is six weeks old today. Two weeks ago today he came home from the NICU. Luke is a tough boy! He already has been through RSV and did very well through it all. He also has survived his two older sisters and his older brother for two weeks now. Soon he will be used to being held upside down and passed back and forth between his sisters sitting on the bed when mom is looking the other direction, always right there but not always looking right at them! lol
Luke is a good eater and lets me know very matter of factly when he is ready to eat! None of his siblings did that. Especially at this age. Luke can hold his head up for a pretty good amount of time. He's really strong. Luke is 6 lbs 8 oz. When he left the hospital he was 5 lbs 15 oz so he's gained 9 oz in two weeks. They like them to gain an ounce to an ounce and a half at this size so he is right in that range. Of course if they gain faster, that's great but he is one A.J. and Sarah's babies so no one expects him to gain too quickly...
Also Luke was able to get his second RSV shot on time. Dr.Taylor was very, very clear that he really doesn't want him around anyone right now. He's just too vulnerable, especially after he's already had RSV this season. RSV season ends at the beginning of May.

Just had to share, I was reading this while sitting with Elisa and she kept pointing at Luke and going "baby!" She was very excited to see him.
It's not too late to call him Little Collin. He's sooooo cute and so like his uncle! It's wonderful that he's growing and doing so well.
You've had quite the excitement going on up there! Sorry to hear about the RSV. It's bad this season down here as well. My friend's 3-week old got it and was hospitalized as well. I'm keeping Kiersten at home! So does Luke have red hair? The middle picture made it look that way but the other ones not so much--leaves me curious! I'm liking the red look though--too cute!
