Mark's Two!
Mark turned two today! He had a fun day but was a little confused as to what the fuss was all about. Leata and Taylor wanted to know why he wasn't any taller or didn't look any different since he was two now. To celebrate, we went to the Parlor in downtown Provo to have Pizza. The other time we went there (while Luke was in the hospital) we were the only people there the majority of the time. This time was the same. It was a great place to take Luke, who slept the entire time in his carseat covered up. We had pizza and dessert and then came home where he opened his presents and then we had ice cream cake. The kids were amazed that we had two desserts!
Mark had his 2 year old well child check and is doing well. He's 35 inches (70th percentile) tall and 21 lbs (not on the charts for weight). He's definitely my tall, skinny boy! It makes dressing him a huge challenge! He's do well developmentally in all areas. There were some concerns, even at 18 months, with his gross motor development but he is completely caught up now.
Here are a few pictures from Sunday when we had his first celebration. :)

Yum! That cake looks delicious.
I am amazed at how Mark suddenly grew up when he became a big brother.
He doesn't mess around when it comes to eating cake, does he?! Too funny!
